In morning sound of nature welcomes at every part of forest rest house. Drive to Phato rest house takes around 30 mins from entry gate of Phato safari zone. Road to phato offers beautiful view of forest with trees of Sal , Sagwan forest which makes it ideal place for nature lovers.

Best Time to Visit

It remains open from winter to summer time while in monsoon it remain closed due to excessive water pooling in forest landscape.

Temperature and Weather

During the colder months (November to March), the mornings and evenings are chilly, while the afternoons are more comfortable. From April to mid-June, the weather shifts to pleasant mornings and evenings, but the afternoons become hot, leading people to prefer activities like safaris over staying in a forest rest house.
